Halloween may be over, but some homeowners think they live in haunted houses all year round.
The annual HAUNTED Report (compliments of realtor.com) found that 13% of Americans believe that the home they live in is haunted.
Where Are the Most Haunted Houses?
When it comes to haunted houses, the West is leading the nation with 18% of people reporting strange noises, shadows, even levitating objects. Only 10% of homes in the South appear to be affected by ghosts and spooky happenings.
Would You Buy a Haunted House?
According to the survey 70% of women and 54% of men would not want to live in a haunted house. However, 33% of those aged 35 to 54 would consider a purchase if they could get a 10% discount.
