I love riding my bicycle. Yesterday was the perfect day to do it. So, we spent 3 hours on the Alum Creek Trail traveling from Westerville down to Easton and all the way up to Galena.
If you share my passion for biking, you may be looking for a bicycle-friendly neighborhood to move to.
Honestly, it’s hard to pick a single place. You will find excellent bike trails throughout the Columbus Metro area.
For an easy way to find bike trails go to Google Maps and turn on Bicycling. The green lines indicate bike trails.
As you can see from the density of the green lines, every Dublin neighborhood has access to a bike trail. There are more than 100 miles of trails in Dublin alone.
Westerville and Clintonville are well known for being bicycle friendly, too.
When you look for a home with easy access to major trails, check out this map. It shows all major bike trails crossing the City of Columbus:
- The Olentangy Trail from Worthington along the Olentangy River through downtown
- The Alum Creek Trail which connects Westerville with Reynoldsburg and Groveport along the Alum Creek, and
- The Ohio to Erie Trail which traverses Columbus from Georgesville in the South to Galena in the North.
